Introducing the reformer
The Reformer is the most well-known piece of large Pilates equipment. It is incredibly versatile & its clever design means it can assist your movement or resist it. Exercises can be done in lying, sitting, kneeling or standing as well as incorporating smaller pieces of equipment such as the box, weights, Pilates circle & softball.
The equipment can look daunting & complicated to use, but it is surprisingly simple. All our Reformer classes are limited to just five people & expertly guided by one of our Physio or Sports Therapists.

One of our expert instructors will guide you through various exercises in a range of positions & postures to provide a full-body workout. Our classes are mixed level, so they are suitable for various fitness levels. However, we insist that all clients attend a 1:1 or group introduction session before joining a mixed-level class.
Our Reformer classes are limited to just five participants, so our instructor can supervise each client and provide feedback throughout the class.
One of the many benefits of Pilates is that it helps to relax the nervous system. This sense of relaxation is partly achieved through mindful exercises; therefore, we aim to keep the content of classes fresh. There is never a set routine which means you tune into the content of the class, which helps promote a sense of focus, calm & relaxation.
