Here, you will find some of the most common questions we are asked. If you still have any queries or would prefer to speak to a member of the team, please get in touch.

What Physiotherapy & Sports Therapy services do you provide?

How do I book a physiotherapy appointment?

You can book an appointment online, by phone, or by visiting our clinic. Our friendly team is happy to assist you with the booking process.

Do I need to do anything before my Initial Assessment & First Treatment appointment?

You will be sent a link to a health questionnaire and screening form. Please complete this with as much detail as possible. We appreciate that this can be frustrating, especially for clients who have seen many healthcare professionals and told their stories many times. This form allows your therapist to prepare for your assessment and means as much time as possible in the appointment can be spent treating/helping you.

What happens during my first appointment?

Your initial assessment and first treatment include a detailed consultation to discuss your medical history, current symptoms, and goals. A physical assessment follows this and, if appropriate, your first treatment. A personalised treatment plan will also be developed.

Do I need a GP referral?

No, you don’t need a referral to see one of our physiotherapists.

Do I need to see a Doctor before my appointment?

No, our therapists are qualified to assess & diagnose musculoskeletal & Women's Health issues. Following this assessment, if you require medical treatment or a referral to another healthcare provider (NHS or Private), we can provide a referral/sign-posting letter.

Do you charge for referral/sign-posting letters?

We have a small charge of £10 per letter.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes, we understand that plans can change. To avoid cancellation fees, please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Our full cancellation policy can be found here.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your condition and goals. During your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will provide a clear plan and estimate the number of sessions needed.

What can I expect after treatment?

You may feel mild soreness after treatment, which is normal and should resolve within 24–48 hours. Your physiotherapist will provide aftercare advice to support your recovery.

How will my progress be tracked?

We regularly review your progress and adjust your treatment plan accordingly. Assessments will be made on your agreed goals, movement analysis, strength assessment & specific physiotherapy tools.

Please bring any relevant medical records, imaging reports, and a list of medications.
